Armin’s design background lies in industrial design studies at the Muthesius Academy of Fine Arts and Design, where he focused on the development of innovative products, systems and services aimed at improving the quality of life. During his studies, his projects were already recognized in national and international competitions, especially his final projects, for example with the German Federal Ecodesign Award, the Mia Seeger Award, a special recognition of the Lucky Strike Junior Design Award and a top 10 nomination of the GreenTec Award.
Parallel to his studies, he began turning ideas into reality at an early stage. As co-founder of a small, interdisciplinary studio, he was able to design a medical product back in 2015 that is still established on the market today. This early combination of visionary thinking and pragmatic realization still shapes his way of working today.
Armin’s focus is on developing solutions in open-ended, participative processes in which expertise from different disciplines is methodically brought together to develop sustainable innovations. Adaptivity plays a central role here: project success does not result from predefined industry knowledge, but from the conscious interlinking of specialist knowledge with a clearly structured but flexible development process.

Armin is focussed on developing solutions in open-ended, participative processes in which expertise from different disciplines is methodically brought together to develop sustainable innovations.
His methodical and strategic understanding of design and his many years of experience in the implementation of complex, cross-industry projects make him an expert in innovation processes.
Armin's seminar “from design visions to design reality” helps upcoming designers to understand how they can develop their ideas and turn them into reality, and introduces them to the tools they need to do so.
In his career, Armin successfully led projects from the initial idea to market maturity and managed interdisciplinary teams by combining creative intuition with entrepreneurial thinking.
Since 2017 Armin has been working as a sailing instructor in a Hamburg school to turn beginners, some of whom have never had any contact with sailing boats, into responsible and safe sailors.
From C2C seminars to the German Creative Economy Summit, where he gave an interactive presentation, it's always about the process and how to get ideas from the drawing board into life.
As founder & curator of design-visions.de Armin is building a platform that highlights excellent student work and makes it accessible to a wider audience – for better access to positive images of the future!
Back during his Abitur and mandatory civil service he taught English to young children in the renowned international Helen Doron Early English school.
