Can smartphones support safe self medication?

During the Prototyping week in Spring of 2015, where people interested in ideas and start-ups meet to collaborate, our group formed around an idea, a concept we came up with during a brainstorm on day one.

With the help of a Smartphone and simple NFC-tags we saw an opportunity for medical applications, especially medication. Not only does the Smartphone serve as a reminder but as a tool to ensure correct and scheduled medication.

The case behind mindtag is the daily, scheduled medication with multiple drugs and maybe even different intervals.
